KEY BUSINESS/CLIENT GROUP
This role will be responsible for the management of subsidiaries in line with agreed targets
PURPOSE OF JOB
Reporting to Director Portfolio Management this role will be responsible for driving growth in Metra's subsidiaries
- establishing KPIs, setting targets and assessing performance of portfolio companies
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Lead setup of control structure and definition of reporting procedures for new subsidiaries in the Portfolio
2. Management process
3. Set targets for subsidiaries in consensus with Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors for the
respective Subsidiary
4. Direct internal and external audits
5. Interface with Corporate Finance to consolidate financial performance aspects with operational
performance supported by Manager Consumer and Corporate
6. Lead periodical performance reviews of subsidiaries
7. Manage reporting and monitoring performance of subsidiaries based on KPIs
8. Interface with Corporate Finance for consolidation of financial statements
9. Facilitate realization of synergies interfacing with PT Telkom and respective Subsidiary executives
10. Interface with Corporate development team in acquisition / execution (one time)
SUCCESS METRICS
1. Metra subsidiaries growth in revenue / market share terms
2. Finalizing subsidiary level KPIs and setting targets based on consensus aligned with overall strategy on
time
3. Subsidiary planning performance reviews are conducted on time
4. Supporting growth of culture
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES
1. Interface with members / representatives on the Board of subsidiaries, Subsidiary board of directors
and Corporate Finance to setup control structure and definition of reporting procedures for new
acquisitions
2. Assess market environment, growth potential and resources to set performance targets for the
subsidiaries
3. Conduct regular performance reviews of portfolio companies and periodic reporting to Director Portfolio
Management on investment performance
4. Discussions with portfolio companies to assess concerns, growth areas
5. Constant interaction with counterparts in other divisions and PT Telkom business divisions to facilitate
synergies
6. Monitor and control in accordance to the agreed guidelines Interface with Metra Board members as part of
investment committee sessions to support new acquisitions
7. Timely and accurate preparation of all management reports and analysis and support in developing
consolidated financial statements
8. Support development of Macro Strategy Plan and Metra long term and short term plans
9. Assist divisions and subsidiaries to develop / implement plan
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
1. Preferably with advanced degree
2. 7-10 years of experience of which at least 3-5 years experience in performance management and / or
operational controlling department of a large corporation
3. Generalist skills in transaction implementation, and managing financial and administrative proceedings
4. Strong IT Managed, application services market knowledge and experience within corporate markets
ideally coupled with Telecom knowledge
5. Strong expertise in analyzing financial and operational performance through performance reports
6. Driving personality – focus on performance management and reporting
7. Proven ability to lead and manage a team
8. Strong written and communication skills – presentations, leading projects and meetings
9. Strong written and oral/presentation skills
