[Job-Vacancy] Opening SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER

SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER

 

The incumbent will be responsible to Regional Supply Chain lead. This position has key relationships external to warehouse and logistics service providers, transporters, vendors, toll manufacturers, government authorities, competitor's through industry forums, SAP and other IT Consultant. On the other hand its internal key relationships are Asia Pacific Supply Chain Lead, Asia Pacific Country Supply Chain Teams, India Supply Chain Manager – Projects, Asia Manufacturing Leadership Team,  Regional Manufacturing Systems Lead, Regional Seed Planner, Regional Trait and New Product Supply Manager, IT leadership including Regional ERP Lead and ISCs, other company's World Area Supply Chain Leads, Global Supply Chain optimization network teams ( eg Global Logistics Network, Order to Cash Network), Regional Business Leadership, appropriate Finance, Regulatory, Tech Development, IT, Customer Service, and HR Leads.

 

Main purposes of the job are To lead the analysis of Supply Chain activities in Indonesia, utilizing Lean Six Sigma and other techniques to identify opportunities for improvements in lead times, supply chain costs, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators to maximize customer satisfaction and business value. Once opportunities have been identified the incumbent will play a lead role in project managing the improvement activities.

The role will also be the primary project management position within the Indonesia Supply Chain team leading the implementation of new business initiatives that impact the supply chain function

 

Require Competencies:

·         Significant experience in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools.

·         Excellent knowledge of modern Supply Chain processes and optimization techniques

·         Experience in a fast paced and complex logistics environment

·         Ability to build strong relationships with Regional and Country Commercial business teams

·         Ability to work effectively with teams and networks across functions and geographies

·         Constructively challenges the status quo

·         Takes accountability for results rather than looking for excuses

·         Demonstrated ability to influence cross functionally

·         A leader in change management

·         Proactively identifies and champions new ideas and processes to meet business challenges

·         Stays informed of developments and emerging trends in the supply chain field

·         Sets high standards of operational excellence for supply chain

·         Knowledge of SAP functionality and experience in its use

·         Established external networks in the supply chain field

·         Bachelor degree in supply chain, engineering, business management or closely related field

·         Six sigma green belt or black belt certification

·         At least 5 years professional level working experience
